Are you dying to have memorable lips like Angelina Jolie? There are no question that red lips are ultra feminine and ever so flirty. Of course red isn’t for everyone. There are plenty of color choices and they’ll all look fantastic when applied correctly.

Check out the top make up tips for the lips - day and night.

You know, the top 3 areas of concern for women when it comes to beauty and first impressions are firstly skin wrinkles, secondly the beauty of the lip area, and thirdly the eye area.

Lip Stains are available in a variety of colors, although not as common as the everyday lipstick colors. They usually come packaged in a plastic squeezable tube, so it’s easy to control the amount you want to distribute. I recommend applying with a lip brush for more precision. The purpose of lip stains can be two-fold because they are also widely used as blush colors for the cheeks. If you’re interested in using them as blush colors, just squeeze a small amount onto the back of your hand and apply using a foundation (or a large concealer) brush. Please note that the product dries quickly, so when you apply the color onto your cheeks blend as soon as possible.

Outline and define the shape using a lip pencil that has soft, pointed top. Start at the V in your upper lip drawing down to the corners. Then, starting at the middle of the bottom lip draw a line to the corners. To help lipstick stay on longer, use your pencil to cover the lips entirely.

Use lip liner to outline the natural lines of your lips and then fill in the lips with a color that blends with your lipstick. This little trick will keep your lipstick in place. Never go outside the natural lines of your lips in an attempt to make your lips look larger. Lip liner will keep your lipstick away from the fine lines around your mouth, which will keep your lipstick from bleeding.

Always choose lip color according to your clothing style and blush colors. The color of your dress and blush should have complement with your lipstick but it does not completely match with your clothes or blush color it should have some contrast with respect to your dress but lip color which you are applying should have same concentration and choice. At time try to wear warm and cool colors together. For example pink lipstick should go with pink and blue colors clothes whereas corals and russets should go with yellow or orange dress. Therefore always be selective in your lip color.

Natural ingredients have been used for centuries as makeup: apply beet juice to lips and cheeks as a stain,or mix it with melted bees wax to make your own lip balm! Cayenne pepper can plump the lips, but use with caution!

Neutral shades will match everything while a medium color will make your lips look bigger. The moisture the lipstick the more likely it is to bleed.

When buying lip balms makes sure they have SPF protection. Some lipsticks also have SPF protection. It’s a good idea to use it all the time if possible.

You look so much younger! That would be nice to hear on a consistent basis, wouldn’t it?

It’s true, you can look younger than your years! Anti aging makeup is a very powerful tool when chosen and applied correctly.

It is important to find supplies that will help prevent breakouts and control oiliness in the problem areas while keeping the rest of the face well moisturized. Find products with Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) that will normalize using the concentrated pure glycolic acid which is found in fruit, milk and sugar cane. The application removes dead cells allowing the healthier ones to surface.

Exercise - This will only ensure that your skin is healthy and toned, with no excess flesh on your arms, tummy, and legs. Exercise however doesn’t have the power of changing your skin structure. That, unfortunately, is your parents’ fault.

Use a good quality wrinkle cream and be consistent in its application. Your skin will benefit from this regular boost of moisture.

Drink plenty of water. We all know how good water is for our bodies and our skin. Your skin will drink in the moisture and its overall condition and texture will improve.

Lack of sleep leaves us with puffy eyes and dark circles. These can make you look haggard, cranky and years older than your actual age. It’s easy to say sleep 8 hours every night but often not as easy to do. Do try to get on a schedule that gives you enough sleep. Your body restores and repairs itself during sleep. It’s a natural healer for mind and body.

Nowadays, there are make up such as concealers or foundations which is ready blended with moisturizer and SPF, with anti-aging properties for the face.

Practicing yoga does not immediately erase all signs of aging. It relaxes, calms and lift up your mind, body and spirit. By practicing the right breathing techniques and postures, it naturally improves and stimulates smooth blood flow, ease and relieves tension, worries from within. Gradually with all positive energies, you will feel and look much younger

Alcohol and smoking will challenge your complexion along with a diet that consists of heavily processed foods. You will need to exfoliate your skin as this helps get rid of the dead cells and rejuvenate your skin faster.

When you are searching for the best anti aging skin care, you will of course look for anti aging products. The best products for skin care treatment that aid in anti aging are ones that include antioxidants. Antioxidants aid our skin by protecting the collagen and the elastin that we need to keep our skin feeling firm and supple.

The overall thing to remember with all skin care treatment including anti aging skin care is that what you put into your body will show on the outside. You should eat a proper diet and healthy foods. Eating well-balanced meals and nutritional foods will give your skin a healthy glow especially when you remember to drink plenty of water.

Makeup is an art and applying makeup tips in a tricky way is another thing. Professionally done makeup enhances the appeal and gives you an added dignity in society which helps you regain self-confidence. Makeup should be an extension of what makes you you, not something that makes you into someone else. Even the most expensive make up in the world would not look particularly great if it is applied carelessly and using your fingertips.

Hair is a slightly more complex equation, as your skin tone will always limit your results. Blonde hair against a very olive skin can leave you looking nauseous, while raven locks on an English rose will look more go thick than alluring.

Do you want to learn the cosmetics tricks and beauty makeup tips used by a professional makeup artist?

Have you wondered how to accentuate your best features while minimizing your trouble areas?

Eye Makeup

In the eye makeup section, you will find many of the tips that we all need. Consider what the right way to apply your eye makeup is. Do you need tips for the application process? Most of us would like to know what the beauty experts have to say on these matters and now you can learn the tips of the trade. Here, you will learn eyebrow tips, eyelash tips and eye makeup applications you will use the rest of your life.

Lips

Apply lip liner to completely cover the lips, add color and your lipstick will stay on much longer. Make sure your lip liner doesn’t show. Also, your lip color should match your skin tone; wear cool colors if you have cool coloring and warm colors if you have warm coloring. If you want to make your lips look smaller, keep your liner on the inside of your lips.

Mascara: Too much application of mascara would look a fake and will flake!!! It appears particularly worse if worn along with thick eyeliners or dark bluish eye shadows.

Apply Foundation

To apply foundation, start from the centre of the face, dotting on to the cheeks and forehead and blending outwards, first making sure your fingertips or make-up sponges are spotlessly clean. Gently blot the skin with a tissue to remove any excess product or surface oil. Never drag the skin if you are using your fingertips to apply cosmetics. Smooth foundation over the lips and eyelids to act as a base for lip and eye products. If you’re not very good at blending foundation, try applying it with a make-up sponge. After smoothing on, moisten the fingertips and then work over the neckline to remove any signs of haphazard application.

Apply a light color all over the lid. Use a darker shade for your upper, outer lid. For deep-set eyes, use another shade that’s the darkest of the three and apply only to the crease of your eyelid. Blend well

As many of you have noted, the western way of eye-make up application simply does not work as well for Asian eyes due to different structures. So to make sure that Asians have some summer make-up fun as well, I’ve found some Asian inspirations for you.

Eyeliner

If you’re typically just a black or brown eyeliner girl and don’t really want to branch out into eye shadow any time in the near future, you can still add a little interest to your look. Browse the drugstores and department store makeup counters for dark liners that offer a hint of metallic color. MAC’s Buried Treasure Powerpoint Eye Pencil is a dark brown-black with gold. If you smudge it, the gold becomes more obvious.

What works well for blond hair and blue eyes may prove to be ill suited or even a disaster for women of other ethnic groups.

The yellow and golden skin tones and exotic eye shape are the most outstanding difference that Asian Pacific women enjoy over women of other races and these are just the features that should be emphasized to create a naturally beautiful effect.

Applying Eyeshadow Makeup for Asian Eyes

Apply Eyeshadow Base

This prevents creasing and is a great barrier between you and the product, especially if you have any skin sensitivities.

Asian women look really nice in Smokey color eye shadows. The colors are purples, lavenders, pinks and for Smokey eyes, gray and charcoal. I recommend the following eye shadows: Eclipse, Grapevine or Mystic trios from Bren Cosmetics. Use a charcoal (Raven) or an Onyx (gray) eyeliner on your upper eyelid only.

A lot of fold is essential for dramatic eye makeup and color such as black, deep purple, and navy blue will look stunning especially at night time.

Use multi-layering of your eye shadow colors to enhance your look.

For eyelining small eyes, do not connect the lines drawn on the upper and lower lashlines, because they will make eyes look smaller. Stay away from the inner rims of the eyes, and substitute with iridiscent or just substitute with the light colored eyeshadow used in your eye makeup.

Use a shadow that picks up lighter flecks in eye. For example, on green/gray eyes put a light golden shade on center of lids. Similar flecks are visible, spotlighted and brightened. Eyes will appear larger when brows are thinner, tidy, and brushed up. Curl eyelashes up with professional lash curler. Use a lighter shade of eye shadow in the center of the lid and a darker shade on the outer edge.

Creating a Crease

Some girls still prefer to create a crease for a different eye look. Where the crease would be, they apply a gray or brown shadow a few shades darker than their skin. Following traditional makeup tips, they then apply the lighter lid color and a highlight under the brow. For extra definition, an even darker gray or brown could be added to the outer v and swept down to extend below the lower lashes.

On mature skin and puffy eyelids, avoid using iridescent, frosted, light colors and white eyeshadows and opt for soft matte colors instead.

Only use cream eyeshadows that do not cause creasing upon application and should be coordinated with powder shadows that are to be used on top of them. They should be applied using fingertips.

Use slate, blue, grey and plum eye shadows for brown eyes, pink, salmon, mauve and brownish pink for green eyes and brown, camel and taupe shades for blue eyes.

Stick to dark colored mascaras such as navy blue or plum for they look more natural.

Apply two coats of mascara, sweeping the wand from roots to ends. Wiggle the wand a little as you move upwards to detach the lashes and make them stand out.

For a festive evening look, replace the ivory powder shadow with a pale but shimmering metallic gold shadow. A silvery white can also be used, but keep it very sheer or it will look pasty. Use a glittery gunmetal gray for the dark shadow. For really dramatic evening eyes, extend the shadow a little further than the outer brow edge in a small upsweep. Pair the upsweep with long and dark false eyelashes. This cats’ eyes look is extremely striking for a night on the town, but would be overkill for most daytime events.

eyes… with your color dress, and your hijab, just go with a deep blue or deep black. dont smug it.. you are going to a graduation. not a night out. Just highlight your eyes..

Silvery lipstick can be pretty if it’s glossy, very sheer and not grey. Anything looks great with braces but the most important thing is that it has lots of moisture as braces dry out your lips. Dark, matte lipstick is definately the wrong way to go.

Teens don’t need foundation - just dot on concealer to cover up any blemishes.

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen - protect your looks for the future.

Graduation is another momentous event in a teen’s life when a gift of jewelry can be given to remember that special day. Graduation rings are the most well known pieces of jewelry that can be given at graduation. But the rings styles of today are nothing like the huge doorknockers of yesterday.

Blush. No, you don’t want to look like a clown…however, a little bit of blush can add to this whole natural look quite a lot. A good way to make the whole look flow? Instead of actually using blush, use the very natural lipstick color that I trust you pick, and smear it into your cheek bones. This way, your colors will match.

Powder. Shine is natural, but who cares, powder yourself, babe!

Although make-up application is important, the removal is equally important. According to Neal, soap and water does not remove make-up. To completely get rid of all traces of it, a make-up remover is needed. Make-up removers have molecules in it that break down make-up and completely remove it. “It is very important to remove make-up.

Always apply blush to cheek bones. To find your cheek bone make lips into a small ‘o’ and apply blush to the part that sticks out. For a great phunky look apply a shimmer eyeliner on top lid to crease and a line on bottom lid. Try using different colors for the mood you’re in.

The objective of applying blush is to give the illusion of higher cheekbones. The ideal is to have enough blush to give you the rosy cheek effect, but not too much that it looks unnatural.

Good theatrical makeup is sometimes overlooked and under appreciated because it works so well in conjunction with the mood and stage setting and compliments the actor’s performance. However, theatrical makeup is an important element of any production. Here is some information and ideas to help you successfully create your own looks for the theatre and stage.

Basic Stage Makeup Techniques

Basic makeup techniques are used for all types of theatrical productions, including high school, college, community, or regional professional theater. When working with young child actors in class plays or community productions, foundation and other heavy makeup is usually not necessary unless an animal or fantasy look is necessary. Always consider the style of production, type of character, and size of theater when planning a makeup design.

First of all, always bring your own mirror; one with a built-in light is very useful, but at the very least make sure it can stand on its own, because it’s a pain trying to put on your makeup or doing your hair with a hand-held mirror

Select a foundation a slightly darker shade than your normal skin tone. This will help with the stage light wash-out. Try a stick foundation. Dot on lightly and blend in to skin being careful to not leave lines around neck and jaw line.

While doing makeup for the purpose of shows you might sometimes need to produce the natural effects of fake injuries, bruises and other scars according to demand of a particular scene of the drama.

Apply at least three coats of long-lasting, waterproof mascara.

With a brow pencil that matches your hair color, draw a line through shaped brows and blend with a brow brush.

Eyes. Need heavy dark eyeliner, shadow, and mascara to make them look bigger, so they will appear normal size on stage. Make your eyebrows very dark, too. The eyes are the most difficult part of the stage makeup. Practice and experiment. Different eye shapes will require different makeup. If your eyes are small or deepest, line them first with matte white pencil, then black just outside of the white line. Accentuate brow bone with matte white. Sweep eye liner and eyeshadow outward and upward to make eyes look bigger.

Check to ensure that there are no allergies to latex or cosmetics.

Always use paint designed specifically for the skin.

Making the eyes come alive is a real art and like any good artist you will have to first leam the exacting techniques of accurate Brush work and careful .colour-blending. Almond shaped eyes are considered to be the ideal. So when making-up eyes, one tries with the help of light and dark eye make-up to inake the necessary changes to give the eyes an almond appearance.

To Enlarge Small Eyes

Start at the outer corner of the eye with medium tone eye color . Set shape by angling slightly upward. Apply eye color on entire eyelid as far as crease, blending outward. Softly blend darkest color in crease and at outer corner of eye. Line upper lid at lash line from inner corner to outer corner. Line lower lid under lashes on outer corner only. about one third of eye from outer corner then apply your mascara.

Use your best judgement for placement of highlighting w/ lighter colors, to make your eyes more open; and also utilising darker colors to contour and even your eyes out – always remember that darker colors used as shading will recede and minimise, and lighter colors will bring out and make larger. Check out model A + model C for makeup application tips for small eyes ideas and adjust colors to suit your look, and use your dark and light shades to balance your eyes as much as possible.

Try using an eyeshadow which contrasts with the colour of your eyes (the opposite on the color wheel). For example, if you have green eyes, use burnt orange shades to draw attention to the area. Be careful to apply it to the edges of your eye, and not the entire eyelid. Blend well with a lighter colo.

Follow with an application of dark eyeshadows to your lids. Conversely, make small eyes appear bigger like this: 1b. Line inner lids with a nude-colored or white eye pencil. 2b. Follow with light, luminous shades of eyeshadow on your lids. *Be sure to use a soft eye pencil, never a liquid liner when lining your inner lids.

Pay attention to the lash line to add definition to the eye area. Lift your eyelid gently to apply eye pencil right into the lash line on the upper lid. Dot the pencil along the lower lashes and smudge carefully with swab to enlarge the eye area.

Eyeliner: application of liner needs to be as close to your lashes as possible, so start with a sharp pencil! Use a very fine line when using eyeliner (liquid or pencil), especially with your small eyes, and keep the liner even on both top and bottom. Smudge to soften and avoid a harsh line. As you want to make your eyes look bigger, start your eyeliner above your iris and extend just past the outer corner of your eye, making sure the line is straight across or slightly upward - blend upward and outward.

Green eyes can use similar shades that brown and hazel eyes use since flecks of green are found in both hazel and brown eyes. Shades of green can be used on green eyes as long as it is not an electric or bright shade of green, causing an unnatural look against the true color of the green eye. Best bets for green eyes include mocha and lavender. The lavender contrasts with the green, making your eyes more intense and dramatic. The warmer mocha color gives a natural look to compliment green eyes. For a hip look try light green and bright purple to give a finishing, modern look.

Makeup Tips For Green Eyes

A wonderful way to bring out those stunning green eyes is with eyeshadow. You’ll find that warm colors like deep purples, plums, mauves, lilacs, golds, bronzes, deep greens, coppers, browns, medium pinks, peaches, and apricots are all excellent choices for green eyes.

Choosing An Eyeshadow

These colors are some of the most popular for green eyes.

Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.

Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.

What Color Eyeshadow To Use For Green Eyes?

Consider starting with a peach color for your eyeshadow. Peach can be darker or lighter, depending on your specific needs. Place it on the eye lid to start. Next, add a light brown over the top of the peach. Be very light with this color as it is just to enhance the peach and define the eye. You can also change this up with a little hit of rose colors that will further define the peach.

Blondes with blue eyes should opt for browns and taupes while those with green eyes can go for soft mauves and lilacs.

Choose a natural, brown liner to accentuate your eyes. Traditional, black liners will take away from the color of your eyes. For a more dramatic, evening look, try liners in plum or green shades instead of black.
